What we collect

We only collect what you give us or what is needed to run the website:

• Enquiries and quote requests: your name, company, email address, phone number and the product details you send us. The enquiry form opens your own email app, so we receive the email you send.
• Your account, if you create one: your name, email address and, if you add them, your company, job title and country. Your password is stored scrambled (hashed), so nobody at Kosaplus UK can read it.
• Campaign details: if you arrive from one of our adverts or emails, the campaign name in the link is kept in your browser for that visit and added to your enquiry, so we know which campaigns bring enquiries.
• Technical logs: our hosting provider records basic request data (such as IP address, time and page requested) to keep the site secure and working.

Why we use it

To answer your enquiry, prepare quotes and supply products (steps taken at your request before a contract, and the contract itself).

To run your account and sign you in (the contract with you).

To understand which campaigns work and to keep the website secure (our legitimate interests).

We do not sell your data, and we do not use it for automated decisions about you.

Who we share it with

Only with the services that run the website and our email: Microsoft Azure, which hosts the website and the sign-in system in the United Kingdom (UK West region), and our email provider. They process data on our instructions. We share data with others only where the law requires it.

How long we keep it

Enquiries and quotes are kept for as long as we need them to deal with your request and any order that follows, and to meet our legal and accounting obligations.

Your account is kept until you ask us to delete it.

Campaign details stay in your browser only until you close the tab.

Your rights

Under UK data protection law you can ask for a copy of your data, ask us to correct or delete it, object to or restrict how we use it, and ask for it in a portable format. Email sales@kosaplus.co.uk and we will reply within one month.

If you are unhappy with how we handle your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk). We would appreciate the chance to put things right first.

Changes

We update this policy when the way we handle data changes. The date at the top shows the latest version.
